Taste and Learn the Eternal Elegance of Kyoto.
Kurochiku Co., Ltd. Cultural Heritage Division offers authentic, hands-on cultural experiences for international visitors to truly taste and learn about Kyoto. This is done through traditional performing arts experiences symbolizing Kyoto's geisha district culture, and Japanese cultural experiences such as tea ceremony and kimono. These experiences are ideal for premium tours by hotels and travel agencies, VIP corporate entertainment, and haute-couture itineraries for affluent travelers. Our goal is not just sightseeing, but a "memorable encounter with culture." We aim to create Kyoto-style value by blending tradition with hospitality.
The experiences of learning about Maiko, Tea Ceremony, and Kimono with all five senses are truly "Kyoto that can only be tasted here." We offer custom-made cultural experiences that are distinct from existing tourism.
We offer content as an experiential learning opportunity where guests "learn the cultural background," not just observe. This is especially popular with international guests who have high intellectual curiosity.
All plans are supervised and performed by former Maiko and Tea Ceremony masters. We are dedicated to authenticity in every gesture, etiquette, and word choice, creating a "memorable cultural experience," not transient sightseeing.
